AQUA vs AURA vs ELITE
The honest version: all three are built the same way and carry the same safety fittings. AURA is a finish choice. ELITE is an engineering choice — and it is the only one of the three that changes what the product can withstand.

Choose ELITE if any of these is true
- Your water is hard. This is the big one — see the descaling maths below.
- You are above roughly the fifth floor of a building.
- Your building or home uses a pressure pump.
- Your water is hard and you want the longest tank cover available.
- You expect to keep the unit for a decade rather than a few years.
AQUA is genuinely enough if
- You are on normal gravity or municipal supply pressure.
- You need horizontal mounting — only AQUA offers it.
- Your water is soft enough that descaling once or twice a season is not a burden.
We would rather sell you the right one than the expensive one.
If your water is hard, descaling is the real cost
Every geyser scales up in hard water. What differs is how fast, and that comes down to what the tank is lined with.
| In a hard-water area | AQUA / AURASteel tank | ELITEGlass-lined tank |
|---|---|---|
| Descaling needed | 1 to 2 times a season | Roughly once in 2 to 3 years |
| Cost per service | ₹400 – ₹500 | ₹400 – ₹500 |
| Typical spend per season | ₹1,000 – ₹1,500 | Close to nothing |
| Over three seasons | around ₹3,000 – ₹4,500 | around ₹500 |
On those numbers the price difference between an AQUA and an ELITE is recovered in roughly two to three seasons of hard water, and after that the ELITE is cheaper to own. In soft-water areas none of this applies and the AQUA is genuinely the sensible buy — which is why we are showing you the maths rather than just the conclusion.
Glass lining slows scaling considerably. It does not stop it completely, and we are not going to claim otherwise.
